The U.S. Under-17 Select Team is comprised of players from the USA Hockey Boys National 16 Player Development Camp, which provides participants with elite instruction, as well as the opportunity to compete at the national level against other players in their age group.

The 2024 Under-17 Five Nations Tournament took place in Piešťany, Slovakia, August 14 – 18. Team USA won the tournament, finishing ahead of teams from Czechia, Germany, Slovakia, and Switzerland with a record of 3-0-0-1.
