Team USA won all four games it played to earn its third-straight championship at the event. The U.S., which topped Canada 5-1 in the title game, outscored its opponents 22-5 in four games.
The United States has now captured the title eight times (1997, 2003, 2008, 2011-12, 2015-17), finished second 12 times and third in the 2013 tournament. The U.S. holds an overall record of 50-6-5-24-2 (W-OTW-OTL-L-T) in 87 Three/Four Nations Cup games.
