Zlin/Prerov, Czech Republic | December 31-January 7

The 2012 U.S. Women's National Under-18 Team dominated the preliminary round, racking up shutout wins against both Russia (8-0) and Sweden (7-0) and defeating Czech Republic 13-1. The U.S. downed Germany 7-1 in the semifinal, but fell to rival Canada 3-0 in the gold-medal game. The United States finished the competition 4-0-0-1 (W-OTW-OTL-L).
