Calgary, Canada | January 7-12

The U.S. Women's National Under-18 Team blazed through preliminary competition, outscoring opponents 28-2 and racking up two 11-0 shutouts against Russia and Switzerland. The United States blanked the Czechs 8-0 in the semifinal, and then Team USA defeated rival Canada, 5-2, in the gold-medal game to claim the inaugural Under-18 Women's World Championship.
