Chris Bookout is serving at the team physician for the U.S. Under-18 Men’s Select Team for the third time. Previously, he was also the team physician for the 2019 and 2018 U.S. Under-18 Men's Select Teams.

Bookout practices general orthopedics with special interests in Sports Medicine and the treatment of shoulder and knee injuries. Using the latest arthroscopic and minimally invasive techniques, including arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, Bookout provides fracture care, treats hand and foot injuries along with arthritic joints, including performing knee replacement surgery.

A former staff orthopedic surgeon at Naval Hospital Pensacola for two years, Bookout is a former US Naval Flight Surgeon and served for two years with Oceanographic Development Squadron Eight. He has worked with Santa Rosa Orthopedics since September of 2000.

An avid golfer and runner, Bookout has been an invited speaker at national and local conferences, published several scientific papers and offers commentary on orthopedic-related issues through several media outlets.
