Derek Ewing is serving as video coordinator for the 2018 USA Hockey Women's National Festival in Lake Placid, New York, for the first time. 

A member of the staff at Brown University, Ewing has served the men’s and women’s hockey programs as The 1976 Hall of Fame Hockey Team Director of Operations in September of 2017.

Ewing previously spent two years with the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League as the team’s Hockey Operations and Analytics Intern. In that role, Ewing handled various aspects of game film, charting activity, analytics and data through a selection of projects. He also spent time as a development coach for Brandon ice Sports Forum.

Ewing graduated from the University of Tampa in 2016 with a degree in finance.
