Emily Engel

Emily Engel recently served as the video coordinator for the 2018 USA Hockey Women's National Festival for the second time after serving in the same role for the gold medal-winning 2018 U.S. Under-18 Women’s National Team in January.

Engel’s previous international experience includes serving in a similar capacity for the U.S. Women’s Under-18 Select Team at the 2017 Under-18 Series in Lake Placid, New York, as well as for the U.S. Women's National University Team as they competed in the World University Games in Trentino, Italy, in December 2013.

She also worked as a video coordinator at the USA U15 Girl's Player Development Camp in the summer of 2015 and in 2017 at the USA U18 Girl's Player Development Camp. Both took place in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

Engel is currently the assistant director of operations/video coordinator for the men’s hockey program at the University of Wisconsin. Her duties include opponent scouting, in-game breakdown and analysis, as well as serving the coaches and players with their video needs.

Engel joined the Badgers for the start of the 2014–15 season as the video coordinator for women's basketball, then became the video coordinator for both the men's and women's Wisconsin hockey programs after one year.

The Fort Collins, Colorado, native graduated from the University of Colorado in 2013 with a degree in cinematography and film/video production. While there, she served as a volunteer videographer for the men's and women's club hockey teams, as well as the men's club lacrosse squad. She also played club hockey for the Buffs and helped coordinate their website and social media.
