The U.S. National Sled Hockey Team went undefeated 4-1-0-0- (W-OTW-OTL-L) en route to capturing the gold medal at the 2019 Para Sled Hockey World Championship in Ostrava, Czech Republic.

The U.S. skated with a perfect 3-0 record in Group A. It opened with a 3-1 victory over rival Canada on April 27 before blanking South Korea, 4-0, the following day to clinch Group A. With a semifinal berth secured, the U.S. closed group play with a 10-0 victory over Norway. After topping the host nation, Czech Republic, by a 10-2 count on May 3, it came from behind three different times to defeat Canada, 3-2, in overtime in the gold-medal game.

The U.S. roster for the 2018-19 season was named in July and was led by head coach David Hoff (Bottineau, N.D.).

The 2019 tournament included a new format that placed the top four teams in Group A and the next world ranked teams in Group B. The top two finishers from Group A earned a quarterfinal bye to the semifinals. The third-place finisher in Group A faced the second-place finisher in Group B while the other quarterfinal game placed Group A's fourth-place team against Group B's top finisher.
