Shannon Zaporski has been involved with USA Hockey since 2017 and is serving as the team dietitian of the U.S. Under-18 Women's National Team for her second Under-18 IIHF Women's World Championship. In her role she helped guide the U18 team to a gold medal at the U18 IIHF WWC in Bratislava, Slovakia.

Zaporski is a registered dietitian originally from Shelby Township, Michigan. She works at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, where she specializes in pediatric nutrition. She previously worked as a sports dietitian with the Grand Rapids Drive, Michigan State University, and as graduate assistant in sports nutrition at the University of Mississippi.
