Jim Narrigan

Athletic Trainer

Jim Narrigan is making his first appearance as an athletic trainer for the U.S. National Junior Team.

Previously, Narrigan served eight years as the head athletic trainer for the National Hockey League’s Boston Bruins. He was with the team for two Stanley Cup Finals and was selected as a trainer for the 1988 NHL All-Star Game.

Prior to the NHL, Narrigan served a three-year stint as an assistant athletic trainer for the Boston Breakers of the United States Football League. He also spent two seasons with the National Football League’s Philadelphia Eagles as an assistant trainer, including the 1980 campaign in which the Eagles advanced to Super Bowl XV.

Narrigan also spent time at Ursinus (Pa.) College and Crozer Keystone Health System as an athletic trainer.

Currently involved in two family-owned businesses, Narrigan resides in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, with his wife, Kathy. He has three sons: Michael, Cam and Sean.
