About the U.S. Women's Development Sled Hockey Team

The U.S. Women's Development Sled Hockey Team, which originated in 2007, is in its first season under the governance of USA Hockey.

The 2019-20 U.S. Women's Development Sled Hockey Team was selected during tryouts in July. Rose Misiewicz (Duluth, Minn.) will serve as head coach for the 2019-20 season with Hannah DeLong (Madison, Wis.) as an assistant coach.

In its second season under full governance of USA Hockey, the U.S. Women's Development Sled Hockey Team features 18 players, including nine forwards, six defensemen and three goaltenders. This year’s team includes 15 returning players from the 2018-19 season, including forwards Sarah Bettencourt (San Diego, Calif.) and Catherine Faherty (Norwell, Mass.); defensemen Christina Gardner (Lewiston, Maine) and Erica Mitchell (Chicago, Ill.); and goaltender triad of Hope Bevilhymer (Las Vegas, Nev.), Gabby Graves-Wake (Phoenix, Ariz.) and Rosie Robinson (Howards Grove, Wis.).
