Liberty Division Shootouts: Tuesday’s action began with a pair of Liberty Division tilts that went to a shootout with White defeating Columbia, 6-5 and Navy defeating Kelly, 2-1.White and Columbia put on an offensive show in the first game combining for 10 goals, including eight in the second half alone. Leading the way for White was Kenny Riddett (Fishkill, N.Y.) who tallied three assists and Douglas Weight (Lattingtown, N.Y.) who contributed a goal and an assist.

Navy and Kelly provided a much different game with goals being hard to come by. Navy led 1-0 with just over a minute to play when Adam Beauvais (Shelby Township, Mich.) tallied the equalizer to send the game to a shootout.

Race for the Scoring Title: Through two days of action, we have a close race for the scoring title with Kenny Riddett (Fishkill, N.Y., White) and Kyle Schroeder (Lincolnshire, Ill., Orange) each having five points. Riddett has tallied five assists while Schroeder has logged two goals and three assists.

Offensive Explosion: Red exploded offensively and scored seven goals in the first half en route to a 10-2 victory over Gold. John Farinacci (Chatham, N.J.) and Carson Riddle (Holly, Mich.) led the way offensively with two goals and two assists each.

Division Races: Tuesday’s action set up some winner take all scenarios for the division races. White currently leads the Liberty division with five points but Kelly sits just one point behind with four. The two teams square off on Wednesday.

In the American division, Orange currently leads Forest by three points and just needs one point on Wednesday to clinch the division crown. Red also needs a single point on Wednesday to clinch the National Division.
