Mohawk Valley Garden and the city of Utica, New York, will host the 2024 International Ice Hockey Federation Women’s World Championship.
The event, which took place April 3-14, 2024, included 29 games and featured the top women’s hockey players from across the world. Host venues for the 10-team tournament were the Adirondack Bank Center and Utica University Nexus Center.
Team USA earned its 23rd-straight medal, taking home a silver following a 6-5 overtime loss to Canada in the gold medal game.
The U.S. has made it to the gold-medal game in all 23 of the IIHF Women's World Championships, winning the gold in six of the last nine tournaments (2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2023).
