RESTFUL MORNING
After a late night last night following the USWNT’s opening game of the tournament against Finland, the team and staff had some free time this morning to rest before two back-to-back gamedays coming up tomorrow (Saturday) and Sunday. Players spent some time hanging out at the hotel, grabbing coffee at the neighborhood shopping center and relaxing.

AFTERNOON PRACTICE
With games taking place on the main sheet today, the USWNT held their afternoon practice on the second sheet at Metro Areena. The skate was well-attended by both members of the media and family members of the U.S. players. After practice, Kacey Bellamy (Westfield, Mass.), Kendall Coyne Schofield (Palos Heights, Ill.) and Brianna Decker (Dousman, Wis.) were among the players that completed interviews with both Finnish and Swedish broadcast outlets.

NEWEST MEMBER OF THE TEAM
Katie Million, who was recently named director of women’s national team programs at USA Hockey, arrived in Espoo today to take in the sights and sounds of the tournament though she does not officially begin her new duties with Team USA until May 1.
