Shortly thereafter, Ryan Finnegan (Tecumseh, Kansas/Lindenwood University) scored the third U.S. goal, just 3:52 after Pappalardo put Team USA up by two.
Team USA got its fourth goal of the period from Zach Mitchell (Chicago, Ill./Lindenwood University) and went to the locker room with a 4-0 lead.
The U.S. kept the pressure high during the second period and would add one goal from Kinsella to bring the lead to 5-0.
Similar to the start of the game, Team USA came out flying to start the third period.
Jack Rowe (Carey, Ill,/Arizona State University) put the U.S. up by six just 1:12 into the period.
Following the theme of scoring quick goals, Kinsella scored his second goal of the contest 18 seconds after Rowe's goal that gave the U.S. a 6-0 lead.
