The final slate of games at the 2019 Girls 16/17 Player Development Camp got underway at 12:45 p.m. today. The matchups were determined based on the standings following pool play, which included three games for each team.
The games were the last opportunity for the players to impress the coaches and evaluation staff that are selecting the players that will advance to the Girls U18 Select Camp, which is being held July 15-21 here in St. Cloud.
With all on-ice sessions wrapped up, campers and staff will participate in an all-camp challenge in the morning before attending the final meeting where the players advancing to the U18 Select Camp will be announced.

Kylie Roberts gave Black an early lead in the first half before Royal's Marki Oberg evened the score at the 17:49 mark.
Royal then took the lead just over four minutes into the second half on a goal by Ellie Reiter. With just 20 seconds to play, Roberts scored her second goal of the game to force overtime and eventually a shootout. After the previous nine shooters failed to convert, Black's Hanna Baskin made a slick move to her backhand to win the game.
