BRAMPTON, Ont. – The U.S. Women’s National Team continues its 2023 IIHF Women’s World Championship journey with a semifinal-round meeting with Cezchia at the CAA Centre in Brampton, Ontario on Saturday.

TODAY'S MATCH UP
The U.S. meets Czechia today in the semifinal round of the 2023 IIHF Women's World Championship. Team USA advanced to the semifinals after defeating Germany, 3-0, while Czechia advanced to the semifinal round following a 2-1 win over Finland.
AGAINST CZECHIA...
Today's game is the third all-time meeting between Team USA and Czechia in Women's Worlds play and the second time the two teams will meet this championship. The U.S. holds an all-time 2-0 record against Czechia. The two teams met in last year's WWC semifinals, with the U.S. coming out with a 10-1 victory.

Team USA holds a 16-0-0-1-1 (W-OTW-OTL-L-T) all-time in semifinal competition at Women's Worlds. The U.S. has advanced to the gold medal game in all 21 tournaments staged.

2024 WWC SITE TO BE ANNOUNCED SUNDAY
The host location of the 2024 IIHF Women's World Championship is set to be announced on Sunday afternoon prior to the Bronze Medal Game. USA Hockey is set to host next year's tournament. It'll be the first WWC held in the U.S. since 2017.
