QUISPAMSIS, N.B. – The U.S. National Sled Hockey Team will take on Czechia here today in its opening preliminary round game of the Para Hockey Cup. Puck drop is set for 11 a.m. ET at the Qplex, and the game will be streamed live here.
Team USA enters the Para Hockey Cup with a 5-0-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) record on the season after winning the IPH Cup in Ostrava, Czechia, in October. The U.S. has won a record nine Para Hockey Cups all-time, including seven consecutive tournament titles.
These two teams have faced off in 13 contests all-time, with the U.S. holding a record of 12-0-1-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L).
On Friday (Dec. 1), the U.S. skated to a 5-2 victory over Canada in its lone pre-tournament game.
