Sled Series vs Canada Kicks off Next Week in Minot, N.D.

U.S. National Sled Hockey Team and U.S. Women’s Development Sled Hockey team will each play a three-game series vs. Canada, March 13-16.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The U.S. National Sled Hockey Team and the U.S. Women’s Development Sled Hockey Team will each play three games against Canada in the 2024 Sled Series at the MAYSA Arena in Minot, N.D., March 13-16. Games will take place Wednesday (March 13), Friday (March 15), and Saturday (March 16). All six games will broadcast live on USAHockeyTV.com for free.

“We are really looking forward to the Sled Series. It will be the first time that both the Women’s Development Team and the National Sled Team will be competing at the same time in the same venue,” said Dan Brennan, general manager of the U.S. National Sled Team and the U.S. Women’s Development Sled Team.  “Both teams are fired up to play Canada in the great hockey state of North Dakota.”

The U.S. National Sled Team enters the series with a 10-0-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) record on the season after winning the IPH Cup in Ostrava, Czechia, in October, and the Para Hockey Cup in Quispamsis, N.B., in December. The series is the first of two for the team, which will travel to Calgary, Alberta, April 1-6 for a second three-game series against Canada later this season. A full game schedule, along with the roster and streaming information, is available here

The series marks the second competition of the season for the U.S. Women’s Development Sled Team, which skated to a 4-0-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) record to earn a second-consecutive Women’s World Challenge title in Green Bay, Wis., in September.
