GAME DAY: U.S. Women’s Development Sled Hockey Team Set to Play Canada in Game Three of 2024 Sled Series

The U.S. beat Canada 7-0 in game two of the series yesterday afternoon. Kelsey DiClaudio (Plum, Pa.) tallied a hat trick and an assist, while Catherine Faherty (Norwell, Mass.), and Erica McKee (Chicago, Ill.) each scored twice in the win.

The 2024 Sled Series marks the first time ever that the U.S. Women’s Development Team will compete alongside the U.S. National Sled Hockey Team at an international event. The U.S. National Sled Hockey Team is set to play Canada this afternoon at 3:30 pm. CT, and the game will be live streamed for free on

Team USA enters this contest with an unbeaten 6-0-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) record on the season after taking home the title at the 2023 Women’s World Challenge in Green Bay, Wis., in September. The U.S. beat Canada twice, including a 2-0 win in the championship game, to earn its second-consecutive championship. 

Since the inaugural Women’s World Challenge in 2022, these teams have met six times, with Team USA holding a 6-0-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) record.
