GAME DAY: U.S. National Sled Hockey Team Set to Play Canada in Final Game of 2024 Sled Series

MINOT, N.D. -- The U.S. National Sled Hockey Team will take on Canada here today at the MAYSA Arena in its third and final game of the 2024 Sled Series. Puck drop is set for 3:30 p.m. CT. The game will be live streamed for free on USAHockeyTV.com

The U.S. won earned a 4-1 victory in game two last night to move to 2-0-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) on the series. Declan Farmer (Tampa, Fla.) tallied three points (1g, 2a), while Brody Roybal (Northlake, Ill.) recorded a goal and an assist in the win. 

Team USA enters this game unbeaten with a 12-0-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) record on the season, including titles at the IPH Cup in Ostrava, Czechia, in October and the Para Hockey Cup in Quispamsis, N.B., in December. 

First established in 2004-05, the Sled Series between the United States and Canada is a near-annual competition between the North American rivals. The U.S. trails Canada 18-5-5-26-1 (W-OTW-OTL-L-T) in 55 series meetings all-time.

The 2024 Sled Series marks the first time ever that the U.S. National Sled Hockey Team will compete alongside the U.S. Women’s Development Team at an international event. The U.S. Women’s Development Team will play Canada at 4:00 p.m. ET today, and the game will be live streamed for free on USAHockeyTV.com.

These two teams have played 117 contests all-time across all competitions, with the U.S. holding a record of 48-12-7-48-2 (W-OTW-OTL-L-T).
