LAKE PLACID, N.Y. – Calla Frank (Hugo, Minn.) stopped 25 shots, but the U.S. Under-18 Women's Select Team fell to Canada, 3-0, in the second game of the Under-18 Series at the Lake Placid Olympic Center in Lake Placid, New York.
"Tonight was one of those games where we just got beat in all areas of the ice," said U.S. head coach Joel Johnson. "It’s very typical of a U.S.-Canada series so far, both teams learning a little bit about each other and both learning a little bit about themselves, and that’s the whole point of this series. I’m excited to see us bounce back on Sunday."
