The 2018 U.S. Paralympic Sled Hockey Team closes preliminary round play at the PyeongChang 2018 Paralympic Winter Games today when it takes on host South Korea in its third tournament game. Puck drop is set for 12 p.m. local time (11 p.m. ET, March 12) at Gangneung Hockey Center and will be broadcast live on NBCSN as well as live streamed on NBCOlympics.com.

With three goals yesterday, Brody Roybal set new U.S. records for most points and goals in a single season with 38 points and 22 goals, which both bested teammate Declan Farmer’s records of 35 points and 20 goals from the 2016-17 campaign ... Behind a pair of assists, Josh Misiewicz has extended his U.S. single-season record for most assists to 19 ... Every U.S. player making their Paralympic sled hockey debut has registered a point thus far, including Ralph DeQuebec (0-2--2), Travis Dodson (2-0--2), Noah Grove (1-0--1), Billy Hanning (0-1--1), Josh Misiewicz (0-5--5), Luke McDermott (1-0--1) and Jack Wallace (2-2--4)... The 17-player roster was unveiled on Jan. 1, 2018 at the 2018 NHL Winter Classic ... THE SERIES VS. KOREA
Between Paralympic and World Championship play, this is the fifth-ever meeting between the two teams. A year ago, the two teams met in preliminary-round play of the 2017 Para Sled Hockey World Championship, where the U.S. skated to a 5-0 win. The game saw Brody Roybal (Northlake, Ill.) score twice and eight other players tallied at least one point. In five meetings, the U.S. is 5-0 and has outscored the Koreans by a 20-2 margin.
GROUP B UPDATE
Entering the final day of preliminary round play in the Paralympics sled hockey event, the United States sits in first place of Group B. Among the four teams, the U.S. has a group-best goal differential of 20 without having allowed a goal.

Declan Farmer (Tampa, Fla.) scored four goals and Brody Roybal (Northlake, Ill.) added three goals for the second straight game to help the United States shut out the Czech Republic, 10-0. In his first start of the 2018 Paralympics, Steve Cash (Overland, Mo.) turned aside 13 shots for his eighth Paralympic shutout.
