The U.S. Women's National Team is facing off against Canada in the 2024-25 Rivalry Series, presented by Discover, a five-game competition featuring the two fierce rivals.
For the third straight season, the Rivalry Series was decided in the final game, with Canada ultimately taking the series 3-2.
USA Hockey hosted the first three games of the series. The U.S. won game one, 7-2 in San Jose, Calif., before falling in game two, 5-4 (SO), in Salt Lake City, Utah, and game three, 4-1, in Boise, Idaho.
Games five and six were hosted by Canada, with the U.S. victorious in game four, 2-1 (SO), in Halifax, Nova Scotia, before falling in a winner-take-all game six, 3-1, in Summerside, P.E.I.
Now in its fifth season, the Rivalry Series was introduced by USA Hockey and Hockey Canada in the 2018-19 season and comprised three games between the women’s national teams of the two countries.
