The complete game schedule for the 2021 International Ice Hockey Federation Women's World Championship was announced today by the IIHF. The U.S. Women's National Team will open its quest for a sixth-straight gold medal at the tournament against Switzerland on Thursday, May 6 at 2:30 p.m. ET.
The 25-player U.S. Women's National Team roster set to compete in the world championship was announced March 30 and features 17 members of the team that captured gold in the 2019 tournament.
All of Team USA's preliminary round games will be played at Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, as the U.S. competes in Group A alongside Canada, Finland, Russia and Switzerland.
The knockout round begins with four quarterfinal matchups on Thursday, May 13, followed by the semifinals on Saturday, May 15, and the gold- and bronze-medal games on Sunday, May 16.
