UTICA, N.Y. – The U.S. Women’s National Team continues competition at the 2024 IIHF Women’s World Championship today against Czechia in its second preliminary round game at the Adirondack Bank Center.

TONIGHT'S MATCH UP
Tonight's game marks Team USA's second preliminary round game at the 2024 IIHF Women's World Championship. It marks the first of back-to-back games for the U.S. Team USA. sits at 1-0-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) after shutting out Switzerland on Wednesday.
AGAINST CZECHIA
Tonight's game is the fourth all-time meeting between Team USA and Czechia at the Women's World Championship. The U.S. holds a perfect 3-0-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) record against the Czechs, including a 25-4 goal advantage in those three games.

The U.S. and Czechia last met in the semifinals of the 2023 Women's World Championship, with the U.S. coming out with a 9-1 victory. Hilary Knight, Amanda Kessel and Tessa Janeckeeach scored twice in the winning effort.
