UTICA, N.Y. – The U.S. Women’s National Team looks to win its fourth-straight game at the 2024 IIHF Women’s World Championship today, with its final preliminary round game against Canada.

Tonight's game marks Team USA's fourth and final preliminary round game at the 2024 IIHF Women's World Championship. The U.S. enters the contest undefeated with a 3-0-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) record, the same as its opponent Canada. The winner of tonight's game will win Group A.

Tonight's game is the 35th all-time meeting between the United States and Canada at the Women's World Championship. The teams have an even 13-4-7-10 record against each other, with the U.S. and Canada having split their two meetings at the 2023 Women's WorldChampionship.

The U.S. and Canada last met on the Women's Worlds stage in the gold medal game of the 2023 Women's World Championship. Hilary Knight tallied a hat trick as the U.S. won gold by the margin of 6-3.
