2022-23 Rivalry Series

The U.S. Women's National Team will once again take on rival Canada in a series of games during the 2022-23 season. Additional dates, locations and information will be announced soon.

The U.S. and Canada have battled in the gold-medal game of every IIHF Women’s World Championship and Olympic Winter Games staged, with just two exceptions (2019 World Championship, 2006 Olympics).

Most recently, the 2019-20 Rivalry Series included five games - two in December and the final three games in February. Team USA won the series 4-1, including an overtime win in the finale on Feb. 8 in front of a record-breaking 13,320 fans in Anaheim, Calif. 

The Rivalry Series was introduced by USA Hockey and Hockey Canada in the 2018-19 season and comprised three games between the women’s national teams of the two countries.
